Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Configuration Analyst to support a leading government integrator. This individual will be responsible for configuration management, change control processes, data management, documentation control, and customer-facing delivery support. The ideal candidate will have experience managing configuration baselines, supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and ensuring compliance with engineering and contractual requirements in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This role requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, project management, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain configuration baselines for products, systems, and projects
Manage and control configuration items throughout the product lifecycle
Coordinate and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities
Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Trouble Reports (TRs), and Drawing Revision Notices (DRNs)
Track, document, and report configuration status, revisions, and approved changes
Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all configuration items
Conduct configuration audits to ensure compliance with documented requirements
Verify that physical and functional configurations align with approved documentation
Review engineering documentation, specifications, reports, and drawings for compliance and completeness
Analyze the impact of design changes on technical documentation, test specifications, manuals, and other controlled records
Ensure required reviews, approvals, and signatures are obtained for all controlled documentation
Prepare and deliver contractually required documentation and data deliverables
Conduct document peer reviews for both classified and unclassified materials
Manage document archival activities and ensure proper version control
Communicate updates and changes to impacted departments and stakeholders
Ensure proper handling, storage, retrieval, and protection of technical data
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, program management, and customer teams
Provide configuration and data management support throughout the project lifecycle
Interface professionally with leadership teams and government customers
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Security Clearance
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of Configuration Management experience
5+ years of experience supporting hardware configuration, change control, and data management processes
Experience managing change requests and participating in Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
SharePoint
Confluence
Adobe Acrobat
TeamCenter or similar Configuration Management tools
Strong understanding of configuration management principles, practices, and lifecycle processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and technical concepts
Experience interacting professionally with leadership teams and government stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
