Job Description
Duties
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the maintenance portfolio: pull data across Navy systems and generate historical/predictive analyses for resource allocation and trend analysis
- Support the Portfolio Management Office with maintenance and repair trend analysis; use AMS Capability to predict achievement of availability Key Events and Milestones
- Develop cost estimates and forecasts with detailed justifications; revise risk letters, SDVG metrics, and naval messages in DON format
- Review work specifications and integrated production schedule inputs submitted by industrial contractors through NMD
- Recommend improvements to business processes, staffing, and workload distribution; brief findings to large groups on the spot
Required
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 5+ years of in-depth surface ship modernization, maintenance, and repair policy and methods
- Proficiency in Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), SMDII, AMS Capability, and VSB
- Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, and Power BI
