The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for anto join the VC-25B program working on the interior of this iconic jet in .

This role will have oversight and execution responsibilities for shipside support and both internal and external supplier integration on several work packages. While partnering with the senior leader, this role will have opportunity for visibility with program and engineering leaders to support key milestones.

This role will have a strong focus on shipside engineering execution and turn time metrics, both development and maintenance, as well as technical project and program management of a cross functional team execution. Collaboration and strong communication with operations, other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customer, and suppliers will be paramount to the success of this role.

This role requires experience leading integrated teams to develop complex solutions. Strong foundational understanding of aircraft support including change management and supplier oversight is required .


  • Manages employees performing engineering support and technical activities.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Manages, develops, and motivates both direct and indirect employees.









  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) or Equivalent technical degree
  • 3+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships.



  • Metrics development and execution at senior leadership level .
  • Cross functional leadership experience .
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
