Computer Systems Administrator / Spectrum Management Analyst

KBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator / Spectrum Management Analyst to provide on-site support to Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day information technology support to STARCOM personnel while also supporting a limited spectrum management portfolio requiring coordination, analysis, and technical recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong systems administration skills with an understanding of spectrum management processes and regulatory requirements.


  • Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, software, and government-issued mobile devices.
  • Provision, modify, and manage NIPRNet and SIPRNet user accounts and associated access permissions.
  • Configure and maintain classified and unclassified e-mail accounts and user access.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, configuration, account, and hardware/software issues.
  • Provide technical guidance to users concerning Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, browser configurations, shared drives, and peripheral devices.
  • Open, track, and manage trouble tickets through resolution.
  • Support users across all STARCOM Headquarters locations.
  • Resolve customer issues within established performance timelines.
  • Provide responsive customer support to senior leaders, General Officers, and their staffs.
  • Maintain awareness of U.S. Space Force and Department of Defense information technology policies and procedures.



  • Support preparation and coordination of frequency authorization requests for tests, training events, exercises, and operational activities.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of spectrum certification packages.
  • Review Radio Frequency Allocation (RFA) requests and provide technical recommendations.
  • Conduct basic spectrum management analysis and support spectrum engineering activities.
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders regarding spectrum requirements and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in preparing briefings, reports, and staff packages for senior leaders.
  • Support HQ STARCOM efforts to ensure spectrum-dependent systems operate effectively and without harmful interference.
  • Provide technical support regarding spectrum policy, regulatory requirements, and emerging spectrum issues.





  • An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • Security + Certification.
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting Department of Defense information technology networks, communications systems, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting spectrum management, frequency management, communications planning, spectrum engineering, or related electromagnetic spectrum activities.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, and Department of Defense information technology policies and procedures.
  • Experience provisioning user accounts and supporting NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and preparing professional correspondence, reports, or briefings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite



  • Formal spectrum management training (NTIA Federal Spectrum Management Course, Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager's Course, JEWTOC, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Headquarters, Field Command, MAJCOM, Combatant Command, or Service-level experience.
  • Experience coordinating with Air Force Spectrum Management Office (AFSMO), Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO), National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), or similar organizations.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force missions and operations.
  • Experience with task management and workflow tracking tools.
