RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical leadership to a high-performance engineering team by executing against the mission, vision, and strategy of the Technical Services Division
- Foster an organizational culture of innovation, curiosity, and dedication to mission
- Collaborate with senior leadership team to achieve the business goals for revenue, identify opportunities for improvement, retention, and drive organizational change where necessary
- Provide expertise and guidance across diverse engineering disciplines including software development, network design, reverse engineering, embedded systems, hardware productization, and RF communications
- Evaluate and mitigate technology gaps relating to current and future work
- Stay current on technologies and trends to be capable of making informed suggestions and decisions to the technology roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of technical staff and foster an innovative, collaborative and high-performance culture
- Background or education in computer, communications, and network security
- Experience as a security researcher with demonstrated background in reverse engineering of hardware, decompiling/disassembly of embedded code, and protocol analysis
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to create a culture where employees are motivated to succeed through collaboration, clear and open communication, and transparency
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, evolving priorities, and new technologies
- The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Ability to collaborate on development and management of a technology roadmap and product portfolio
- Location: Washington Metropolitan Area with travel to customer sites across the region
Potential for 10% travel beyond the Washington Metropolitan Area
