This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

Manages subordinate teams overseeing the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Directs contract administration. Tracks and provides status of on-time-deliveries, Compliance, HR flowdowns, Staff flowdowns, workload, and forecasting upcoming proposal efforts. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.



To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education,

• 12+ years of experience,

• Professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e... Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management) or a combination thereof,

• Demonstrated ability to work on-site full-time in a classified area,

• Demonstrated ability to create compliant RFPs and delegate / shape / direct RFP development by a team of SCMs / SCAs and manage their release to suppliers and their later definitization,

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, with ability to get SCI with CI poly Clearance to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Expertise in Lockheed internal processes or their equivalent such as: Procure-to-Pay, SpacePORT, and Command Media

• Has TS/SCI with CI poly

• Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure

• Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers

• You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.

• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
