Physical Security Specialist (MID)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Security Specialist to join our team to help contribute to our success and help maintain an excellent security posture against adversaries.

The Physical Security Specialist is a multidisciplinary individual concerned the management and oversight of activities performed to support active and passive measures, designed to prevent the unauthorized access to personnel, equipment, installations, materials, and information; and to safeguard them against espionage, sabotage, terrorism, damage, and criminal activity. The Physical

Security Specialist provides tasks that include but are not limited to:

Provide Guidance and Documentation to Facilitate DoD/Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Compliance.

Provide Support for Secure Area Accreditation (Pre-Construction to De-accreditation).

• Ensure all accreditation documentation for all F-35 JPO secure spaces is accurate, and complete.
• Maintain and track F-35 JPO sponsored facility accreditation letters.
• Complete and maintain Fixed Facility Checklists and assist with annual facility inspections.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and document results.
• Facilitate the coordination, documentation, oversight and other security-related functions of construction and/or modifications pertaining to secure areas.
• Document and maintain construction progress and activities.
• Provide Guidance and Documentation to Facilitate DoD/Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Compliance

Years of Experience/Education Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the position. Bachelor's Degree in the stated discipline. Four additional years relevant experience to the position may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Certifications

• Physical Security Certification through CDSE, not required but may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Clearance

• TS/SCI/Special Access Required.
