Job Description
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a Transportation Specialist to support Naval Special Warfare Group ONE (NSWG-1), Detachment Bahrain / Task Force 3 — the executive agent for all Naval Special Warfare activities in the CENTCOM theater. This role coordinates personnel, passenger, and cargo movement across DoD and Fleet transportation commands to keep deployed special operations forces moving on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Arrange and schedule all NSWG-1 Det Bahrain/TF-3 and deployed personnel, passenger, and cargo movement in coordination with USTRANSCOM, AMC, CENTCOM, SOCCENT, LSF, FIFTH Fleet, MTMC, MSC, FISC, NAVTRANS, DDC, SDDC, and other agencies.
• Provide oversight of strategic airlift/sealift coordination supporting deployments and redeployments to the CENTCOM theater for exercises, training, and contingency tasking.
• Ensure deployment of NSW/MSOC personnel and equipment meets Required Delivery Date (RDD) per JCS/USCENTCOM Deployment Orders or NSW Commander direction.
• Enter passenger and cargo transportation requirements into the Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) system.
• Coordinate strategic airlift/sealift and ground/line-haul transportation supporting JCS/Fleet exercises, counter-drug missions, JCET, and unilateral training.
• Process all phases of hazardous materials transportation by land, vessel, and commercial/military air, in compliance with the IMDG Code, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, DOT 49 CFR, and U.S. military regulations.
• Coordinate all country clearance requirements for NSW deployed personnel traveling to foreign countries in the CENTCOM theater.
• Draft and submit theater and country clearance messages via the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS).
• Review and approve Travel Tracker / Individual Anti-Terrorism Plans (TT/IATP) per PACOM OPORD 5050-08 and the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide.
• Utilize the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Single Mobility System (SMS) to coordinate and track TPFDD events and transportation assets.
Mandatory Qualifications
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U.S. passport, maintained for the entire period of performance.
• Valid state driver's license; able to drive Government-owned trucks and vans.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including military-format correspondence when required.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal oversight and strong attention to detail.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Position-Specific Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in air mobility and transportation management.
• Prior experience coordinating with USTRANSCOM, AMC, or Fleet logistics commands preferred.
• Willingness to comply with Bahrain SOFA theater entry/clearance requirements; mandatory Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance coverage applies.
• Candidates with less than 5 years of experience may be considered case-by-case, subject to hiring agency and COR approval.
