Location: Washington, DC (On-site)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and oversee cybersecurity program execution in support of a Federal Government customer. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for Government stakeholders and will be responsible for managing all contract-related activities, ensuring successful project execution, and providing leadership throughout the contract lifecycle, including transition-in and transition-out activities.
The Project Manager will also serve as the Transition Manager during contract transition activities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the single point of contact for the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Provide overall management and oversight of all work performed under the contract.
Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of cybersecurity projects of similar size and scope.
Coordinate and manage contract resources to ensure timely and successful performance.
Serve as the Transition Manager during transition-in and transition-out activities.
Designate and oversee alternate Project Manager(s) to ensure continuity of operations during periods of absence.
Ensure effective communication with Government stakeholders and project personnel.
Maintain professional written and verbal communication in English.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of demonstrated experience managing projects of similar size and scope.
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing.
Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification in good standing.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage complex cybersecurity projects and coordinate with Government stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current or prior experience supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Demonstrated experience working within DHS organizations or on DHS cybersecurity programs is highly preferred.
