has an exciting opportunity and immediate need on the E-7A Program for a to join our team based in . Due to expanding business, we are looking for Engineers with a multi discipline skill set who can solve problems and lead solutions across multiple Engineering disciplines.
The E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. This position will work across multiple E-7A programs supporting development of new capabilities for the E-7A program.
- Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
- Supports proposal development and leads project execution by identifying activities, resources and events required to complete the work statement.
- Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project or team plan.
- Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
- Plans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
- Identifies and defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunities.
- Implements corrective actions to improve performance.
- Develops statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
- Identifies and manages changes to SOW, assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of work.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5 + years' experience in project engineering, technical project coordination, R&D, or science and technology program support
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience coordinating tasks, schedules, deliverables, and technical inputs across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience tracking project or portfolio status, including milestones, risks, and execution priorities.
- Level 5 (Subject Matter Expert): 10+ years' experience in project engineering, technical project coordination, R&D, or science and technology program support
- Experience with proposal response development and execution planning
- Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership
- Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables
- Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
