We are seeking a Materials Coordinator (Supply Technical) to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of materials and supplies within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and other related documentation
- Identify and resolve any material shortages or discrepancies
- Assist in developing and implementing material management policies and procedures
- Provide support for audits and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in materials coordination, supply chain, or logistics
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPM)
- Experience with inventory management software
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
