D&G Exercise Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM) SME


Location: Offutt AFB, NE / STRATCOM


Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

This position requires a Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance to be considered. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.

As an Exercise Information Management/Knowledge Management (IM/KM) Subject Matter Expert, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of exercise SharePoint portals and other information management/knowledge management (IM/KM) web sites and other on-line tools and software using the latest theories, best practices, and trends regarding effective administration and security of information related to the USSTRATCOM/J7 joint exercises. 

Who You Are and What You Need:


  • An active, fully-adjudicated TS/SCI clearance.

  • At least an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field preferred; equivalent military operational experience may be substituted.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in using IM/KM tools to design exercise planning and execution applications with an emphasis on SIPR and JWICS SharePoint administration.

  • Ability to manipulate video teleconferencing, display, and visualization capabilities.

  • Prior job experience working at a CCMD and/or Joint Staff.

  • Strong communication and briefing skills with the ability to speak authoritatively on intelligence matters.

  • Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-tempo operational and exercise environments.

  • Experience supporting Joint exercises, operational planning teams, or Combatant Command activities.

  • Experience collaborating across multi-service and interagency organizations.




What You Will Do:


  • Lead the design, develop, and maintain exercise SharePoint portals and other information management/knowledge management (IM/KM) web sites and other on-line tools and software using the latest theories, best practices, and trends regarding effective administration and security of information related to the USSTRATCOM/J7 joint exercises.

  • Lead the utilization of Maven Smart Systems (MSS), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) applications to generate or enhance exercise IM/KM websites, tools or products.

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SharePoint site(s) using SharePoint Content Management and Microsoft Office productivity software including OneNote, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Lead the completion of scheduling requests and coordinate conference rooms; coordinate Senior Leader participation, and coordinate connectivity to geographically separated Senior Leaders via Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Systems (JWICS) VTC, and/or Global Video Services (GVS) during hotwash and other events.

  • Other requirements as directed by the Program Manager.
