- Supervise the receipt and validation of ELMS/DPAS daily desk top audit reports for record reconciliation and inventory accuracy IAW Instruction.
- Plan, implement and provide overall policy guidance on all weapons, VAS, and WEPNAC related programs, to include inventories, assessments, and proper storage IAW local, TYCOM and DoN Instructions.
- Submit all required monthly serialized weapons and VAS reports to the CoC via the Weapons Officer.
- Attend all meetings having impact on Armory Vault Division operations.
- Manage and reconcile monthly weapons, VAS and WEPNAC inventory and material inspections to ensure procedural compliance IAW local, TYCOM and DoN Instructions.
- Supervise in training SEAL and GM representatives in asset organization and inventory management to include documentation retention and reporting requirements.
- Provide customer service to SEAL and GM representatives to facilitate routine and emergent issuance and receipt of equipment.
- Manage and disseminate pre & post deployment inventories for reconciliation and maintenance of equipment for SEAL Teams IAW WARCOM Instruction.
- Generate accountability documentation to support transshipment of weapons and VAS to NSWC Crane for depot level repair or replacement.
- Manage and coordinate disposition authority with WARCOM and transshipment of assets with NSWC Crane.
- Monitor and advise department leadership of weapons, VAS, and WEPNAC stock levels to ensure force management equability.
- Supervise local systems and processes that monitor the distribution and control of weapons and Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS).
- Direct and monitor incoming/outgoing weapons, VAS and WEPNAC shipments, ensuring proper coordination of required actions have occurred to meet operational commitments.
- Execute in collecting and compiling Inventory, Missing, Lost, Stolen and Recovered reports and Financial Liability and Investigation of Property Loss (DD200).
- Receive, audit, and reconcile annual serialized inventories for weapons, VAS, and WEPNAC from NSWC Crane registry.
- Maintain inventory of all weapons, VAS, and WEPNAC to meet Combat Systems Inspections requirements.
- Have in-depth knowledge and experience related to the duties in database management and shipping clerk garnered from at least a minimum of three (3) years' experience within the past 5 years.
- Sensitive material shipping experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of NSW experience.
- Must have 3 years' experience with DPAS, ELMS, or similar type database.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the security and safety regulations governing the movement, storage, and documentation of sensitive weapons and related components as directed by the DOD, SOCOM, NSW or comparable civilian gun industry.
- Must be able to travel CONUS. Travel required for the annual WARCOM Combat Systems Working Group.
- Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties.
