Legal & Regulatory Compliance Advisor
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Position Summary:
Upon award, the Legal & Regulatory Compliance Advisor will evaluate governance, privacy, and multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance to ensure assessment recommendations align with applicable laws and regulations. This part-time advisor will provide specialized expertise in navigating the complex legal landscape affecting protective operations, ensuring that all assessment findings and recommendations account for federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The Legal & Regulatory Compliance Advisor will serve as a critical resource for validating that proposed security enhancements comply with privacy laws, employment regulations, and jurisdiction-specific requirements across the organization's operational footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
• The incumbent will review compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting protective operations and security programs
• The incumbent will evaluate governance and policy alignment to ensure organizational security directives conform to legal requirements
• The incumbent will assess privacy and legal considerations impacting personnel security, surveillance systems, and information sharing practices
• The incumbent will support multi-district regulatory reviews to address jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements
• The incumbent will validate compliance-related recommendations to ensure proposed enhancements are legally defensible and operationally feasible
Minimum Qualifications:
• Attorney or compliance professional with federal regulatory experience
• Expertise in security governance, privacy, and multi-jurisdiction compliance
• Experience supporting government or financial institutions in regulatory matters
