Job Description
- You will manage the overall direct management, policy and procedural guidance, sets priorities, advises, and counsels, supervision, technical advice, development, and implementation of operating procedures.
- You will plan and assign work, identify and provide training, conducts performance ratings of subordinates, and interview and select candidates for vacancies.
- You will attend and plan sessions, participate in the formulation of plans for budgeting and staffing, reports on workload and production indicators, projects requirements for supplies, services and equipment.
- You will insure that all inquiries regarding personal property are properly answered and/or otherwise appropriately handled including congressional inquiries and deceased member matters.
- You will be responsible and accountable for administering the personal property program in an effective and timely matter, and in accordance with broadly established plans, policies, and general program objectives.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the procurement of personal property transportation services, policy, procedural guidance advice, development and implementation of operating procedures.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
OR
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
