Job Description
- Gather, analyze, develop, and maintain operational, manpower, and historical data to prepare a variety of reports, such as organizational structure, resources utilization, mission, function, work processes, etc.
- Input, maintain, evaluate, and compare pertinent data and information.
- Document errors and missing information, research and obtain missing data, clarify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and compile reports.
- Responsible for entering, removing, and reassigning personnel in the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) system.
- Coordinate the data quality of the DMHRSi information with the Administration Officers for each assigned directorate.
- Serve as the department's Property Custodian for accountable office equipment with the assigned departments.
- Serve as a Supply Officer to conduct inventories of available supplies and ensure office supplies are ordered using approved supply systems.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) preparing spreadsheets and/or generating reports to analyze data; and (2) utilizing various automated databases to gather or extract data; and (3) directing supply chain operations as the primary Supply Officer or Property Custodian; and (4) ensuring 100% accountability of high-value assets through lifecycle tracking and/or routine audits.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
