Job Description
- You will provide operational and technical oversight to the Family Housing and Unaccompanied Housing programs.
- You will develop and implement short and long range plans for the renovation of a variety of assets and facilities dispersed over a wide geographic area.
- You will develop community plans and designs and/or review designs for renovations and new construction.
- You will serve as the primary spokesperson to interface between installation management, higher authority within the DoN, the Public Private Venture (PPV) Business Entity, and tenants.
- You will be responsible for the development, justification and defense of required budgets based on known and anticipated requirements, utility consumption and repair and improvement expenditures.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing and coordinating the management, maintenance and repairs of a complex Federal housing operation; 2) Determining the utilization requirements of family housing in accordance with Federal and agency housing policies and requirements; 3) Administrative planning, scheduling and coordination of work forces and resources pertaining to housing management activities; 4) Negotiating with local authorities, tenants, and other interested parties on programs related to the operation and use of public housing assets; and 5) Providing customer support services to military and civilian officials concerning housing policies and programs.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
