Job Description
Position Responsibilities
Security Suite Implementation: Complete the technical configuration and development of ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Configuration Compliance (CC) modules.
Advanced Automation Engineering: Build complex, event-driven automation using Flow Designer and Integration Hub to optimize security and compliance processes.
Data & Tool Integration: Engineer production-ready integrations with external security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, and Qualys by leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and Scripted REST APIs.
RMF & CAM Engineering: Execute technical requirements for the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) by designing automated workflows for tasking and control testing within the CAM module.
Advanced Scripting & Logic: Develop and optimize both server-side and client-side logic using JavaScript, Script Includes, and Business Rules to ensure platform scalability.
Platform Security: Implement granular access controls through ACLs and Data Filtration to protect sensitive TS/SCI-level information.
Technical Quality Assurance: Use Automated Test Framework (ATF) to validate development work and ensure solution quality across all environments.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field
A minimum of 5 years' technical experience
Security+ (or equivalent IAT Level II); must be obtained within one month of start if not already held
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Expert proficiency in GlideScripting, JavaScript, and Ajax
Deep understanding of CMDB architecture and its relationship to Asset Management
Experience working on complex ServiceNow projects requiring in-depth evaluation of situations or data
Experience integrating data from at least one enterprise security source (such as SIEMs like Splunk/Sentinel, or scanners like Tenable/Qualys/CrowdStrike) into the ServiceNow platform
Desired Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer
Proven experience implementing at least one major security suite, including SecOps (Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, or Configuration Compliance) or IRM/GRC (Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, or CAM)
Technical familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) or 800-53 controls
Experience with Git-based development, Automated Test Framework (ATF), or Now Assist AI/ML integration
Knowledge of at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, or Windows
Strong technical background in Cloud Architecture
