<br> <strong>Diving Maintenance Technician / 3M Work Center Supervisor Qualified / SWALIS-DPAS Database Specialist / Personal Property Custodian</strong> <br><br><strong>The Ascendancy Group’s Mission</strong><br><br>To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. <br><br><strong>Overview</strong><br><br>The mission of NSWG-2 Logistics Support Unit is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and provide logistics support for the Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group Two and its subordinate units to directly support NSW operations and training in peace, crisis, and wartime, at home and forward deployed. <br><br><strong>* This position is contingent on contract award *</strong> <br><br><strong>Security Requirement:</strong><br><ul><li>Must possess a SECRET security clearance.</li></ul><br><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Process requests, maintain records, and manage the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables (OPCON) assigned to Dive Division.</li><li>Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance as mandated by OPNAV Instruction 4790 scheduled in 3M for all open circuit items including SCUBA tanks, regulators, air compressors, Haskel oxygen charging booster pumps and kits, diagnostic test equipment and tools, buoyancy compensators, surface swim life preservers, depth gauges, pressure gauges, underwater communications equipment, full face diving masks, Diving Life Support Systems (DLSS) associated equipment and NAVSEA Certified Life Support Systems.</li><li>Conducts monthly inventories, bi-annual inventories, and annual inventories of gear managed in SWALIS/DPAS by NSWG-2 N4.</li><li>Investigates and process paperwork for missing, lost, stolen or damaged property.</li><li>Assists with customer service, issue turn-in, issue documents and receipt of diving equipment. </li><li>Check and track dive equipment requests on SIPR network and assist in procuring and issuing dive equipment with SEAL Team representatives.</li><li>Maintains access and complete required training to manage inventories within the command Accountability Property System Record (APSR) through SWALIS and/or DPAS programs.</li><li>Process requests, maintain records, and manage the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables assigned to Dive Division.</li><li>Conducts monthly inventories, bi-annual inventories, and annual inventories of gear managed in SWALIS/DPAS by NSWG-2 N4.</li><li>Investigates and process paperwork for missing, lost, stolen or damaged property.</li><li>Assists with customer service, issue turn-in, issue documents and receipt of diving equipment. <br>Requirements<br>
<br><ul><li>Minimum of three years’ inventory management experience within NSW.</li><li>Navy Dive School Certified (NEC 5342 / M1DV or USCG OPSDB).</li><li>Minimum five years’ experience as a certified 5342 / M1DV or USCG OPSDB.</li><li>Qualification as a Maintenance & Material Management (3M) Maintenance Person, 3M Quality Assurance Craftsman, and 3M Work Center Supervisor.</li><li>Qualified in accordance with NAVEDTRA 43910-(Series).</li><li>Possess factory trained certification for diving equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, and Oxygen Clean System Worker.</li><li>Maintain forklift license up to 6,000lb capacity.</li><li>Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Be able to enter data into multiple databases accurately.</li><li>Possess a valid state driver’s license.</li></ul><br>The Ascendancy Group (TAG) was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust. <br><br>We are passionate about everything we do.
