Blu Omega is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a federal program focused on data modernization. This role operates in a hybrid environment and is responsible for developing responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications. The position requires experience supporting software development within an agile environment.
Program Overview
Mission overview: Support CDC clients in overcoming challenges using modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Key Details
Location: 575 Morosgo Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324 and secondarily the D.C. Metro area
Clearance: CDC Public Trust eligibility required
Work Authorization: US or GC
Schedule: On-site 1-2 days per week if local to Atlanta
Onboarding: Approximately 6-8 weeks for badge processing

Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications using frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with backend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to integrate front-end and back-end components using technologies like C#, .NET, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to maintain code quality and secure deployments.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, recommending design and architectural improvements.
- Support application development and deployment within Azure and other cloud environments, leveraging cloud-native tools.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to solution design, and apply emerging technologies to improve team efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing software applications
- Experience with Java, Python, .NET, React, or other modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with SQL databases (Postgres preferred) and familiarity with NoSQL technologies
- Experience working in an Agile scrum team
- Ability to develop complete solutions using both backend and frontend languages
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience creating solutions for complex problems within a team environment
- Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation
- Experience working with automated testing tools
- Master's degree
Compensation
Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
