Program Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Visualization / BI Developer provides dashboard development, visualization, UI/UX, release management, and user-feedback alignment support for the A2FF ISR Readiness Data Engineering and Dashboard Modernization Support task order. The role updates dashboard components and visualizations, prepares versioned release notes, incorporates Government and dashboard-user feedback, supports Envision-based dashboard modernization, and works with data engineering, data science, governance, readiness, and stakeholder support personnel to ensure visual products are accurate, usable, traceable, and ready for Government review. This position is contingent based on award.

PROGRAM CONTEXT

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The A2FF ISR Readiness Data Engineering and Dashboard Modernization Support task order supports HAF/A2 - A2FF Readiness Branch in developing, sustaining, and modernizing ISR readiness analytics and dashboard capabilities. The program includes updated ETL/ELT pipelines, predictive analytics, dashboard releases, UI/UX improvements, cross-domain deployment packages, data governance artifacts, stakeholder coordination materials, technical documentation, and process improvement recommendations.

PROGRAM SCOPE
The program scope includes dashboard modernization, visualization updates, UI/UX feedback, release notes, data-product display, dashboard-user feedback alignment, stakeholder reporting support, analytic workflow integration, data-confidence considerations, and Government-ready readiness decision-support products across AF/DoD/IC readiness stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DASHBOARD DEVELOPMENT, VISUALIZATION, AND RELEASE SUPPORT
• Develop, update, and maintain dashboard components and visualizations that support ISR readiness analytics, senior leader review, reporting workflows, and Government-directed data product requirements.
• Support monthly dashboard updates and release notes by documenting what changed, why it changed, which data products or visual components were affected, and what users should understand when interpreting the release.
• Translate readiness reporting needs, analytic outputs, and stakeholder feedback into dashboard views that are clear, usable, mission-relevant, and aligned with Government-approved formats and tools.
• Coordinate with data engineering and analytics personnel to ensure dashboard releases are supported by current data feeds, validated mappings, transformation logic, and known data-quality considerations.

UI/UX FEEDBACK AND DASHBOARD-USER ALIGNMENT
• Collect, organize, and analyze Government and dashboard-user feedback related to usability, layout, visual clarity, workflow support, filtering, navigation, and interpretation of readiness data.
• Recommend and implement approved UI/UX refinements that improve readability, reduce cognitive burden, clarify readiness indicators, and support more effective dashboard use by analysts, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
• Maintain traceability between user feedback, dashboard change requests, visual updates, release notes, and Government review status.
• Support stakeholder engagement and reporting activities by providing dashboard-user feedback inputs, visualization impacts, and recommended refinements for Government consideration.

VISUALIZATION QUALITY, DATA CONFIDENCE, AND ANALYTIC WORKFLOW SUPPORT
• Apply visual analytics practices to ensure dashboard products clearly communicate trends, exceptions, degradation indicators, readiness status, data gaps, and decision-relevant information.
• Validate dashboard outputs against approved data products, source references, data mappings, quality checks, and analytic workflow documentation to reduce misinterpretation or inconsistent reporting risk.
• Identify visualization defects, data display issues, stale data indicators, broken filters, usability problems, and inconsistencies that may affect dashboard-user confidence.
• Provide inputs to data quality assessment reports, readiness analytics packages, process improvement recommendations, and technical issue tracking when dashboard findings reveal data or workflow concerns.

DOCUMENTATION, CONFIGURATION, AND GOVERNMENT REVIEW SUPPORT
• Prepare versioned dashboard release notes, visualization update summaries, UI/UX feedback summaries, dashboard-user feedback dispositions, and supporting documentation for Government review.
• Coordinate dashboard requirements, release timing, change status, risks, and dependencies with the Program / Task Lead, Senior Data Engineer, Data Scientist / AI-ML Analyst, Data Governance / Quality Analyst, and ISR Readiness SME.
• Support Monthly Status Report inputs, technical meeting minutes, action trackers, decision-support products, and briefing materials by providing dashboard status, release progress, feedback themes, and visualization risks.
• Operate in accordance with Government-approved tools, repositories, classified-environment requirements, DD Form 254 direction, and non-personal services boundaries.

ROLE-SPECIFIC DELIVERABLE OWNERSHIP
• Own role-level inputs for dashboard releases, visualization updates, UI/UX refinements, versioned release notes, dashboard-user feedback summaries, and visual product quality reviews.
• Support integration across data engineering, predictive analytics, stakeholder reporting, and process improvement by ensuring dashboard outputs reflect approved data, analytic findings, and Government feedback.
• Communicate dashboard concepts, visualization issues, data display risks, and release impacts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain focus on dashboard development, visualization updates, UI/UX alignment, release notes, user feedback, and dashboard quality; this role does not own final Government readiness determinations or policy decisions.
