Parsons is looking for a talented to join our team! In this role, You'll play a key role in integrating autonomy software into various robotic systems by providing engineers with critical feedback on hardware component capabilities and configuring tactical network IP addresses. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and support mission-critical operations.
Expertise in unmanned systems involves knowledge of robotics, embedded systems, remote vehicle operation, and the integration of hardware and software components. This includes experience with:
A deep understanding of network protocols and technologies, particularly those used in tactical or military environments, is mandatory. Key areas include:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistical aspects required to support system integration, developmental testing, and field exercises. The role ensures the UxSAI engineers, test personnel, and operators have the equipment, infrastructure, and services needed to conduct safe and efficient operations.
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00

- UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) control software and ground control stations.
- Mission planning and execution.
- Aerospace engineering principles, including aerodynamics and flight dynamics.
- FAA Part-107 qualification is required.
A deep understanding of network protocols and technologies, particularly those used in tactical or military environments, is mandatory. Key areas include:
- Wireless networks, mesh networking, and tactical radio systems.
- Secure communication protocols like IPSec and MACSec.
- Satellite Communications (SatCom), VHF, and UHF systems.
- Knowledge of network security and military-specific network infrastructure.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistical aspects required to support system integration, developmental testing, and field exercises. The role ensures the UxSAI engineers, test personnel, and operators have the equipment, infrastructure, and services needed to conduct safe and efficient operations.
- Manage day-to-day logistics for the test and integration laboratory.
- Maintain accountability and readiness of support equipment (e.g., trailers, generators, toolkits, communications gear).
- Assist engineers with equipment setup, staging, and teardown in support of developmental testing.
- Track consumables, spares, and supplies; coordinate resupply and inventory management.
- Serve as logistics lead for scheduled test events and exercises at CONUS (Continental United States) ranges and facilities.
- Develop and execute logistics plans covering transport, staging, power generation, environmental support, and sustainment requirements.
- Coordinate delivery and setup of mission support equipment (e.g., trailers, generators, tents, vehicles) to ensure test engineers have required infrastructure.
- Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting of logistics assets and real-time coordination with range/site representatives.
- Oversee teardown, recovery, and safe return of all government and contractor property after test completion.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI Eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of related experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Unmanned and/or autonomous systems.
- Experience with DoD and Civilian tactical and RF networks: VHF/UHF, MANET, Sat Comm, Link-16.
- Experience with the TAK (Tactical Assault Kit) Ecosystem.
- Experience managing and working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently in austere or unstructured environments, often under pressure, is highly valued.
- FAA Part-107 Qualification.
- 4+ years of prior military experience.
- Current CompTIA Sec+ or ability to achieve certification within 60 days of employment (Parsons will provide support for certification if needed).
- Experience managing integration labs and teams.
- Prior experience with an agile environment where continuous development is practiced.
