Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics / Configuration Management Specialist with expertise in Navy systems and configuration management practices. The successful candidate will leverage their experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE to ensure data integrity, maintain configuration baselines, and support logistics readiness across Navy programs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform configuration management activities in support of Navy systems.
Utilize Configuration Data Manager – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and MBPS’s DECKPLATE for data management and reporting.
Pull and analyze Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct configuration audits to validate system baselines.
Provide technical expertise in logistics and configuration documentation.
Support program teams by ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution of configuration issues.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
Eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.
Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, with at least 5 years focused on configuration management for Navy systems.
Hands-on experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE.
Proven ability to pull and manage Bills of Material (BOMs).
Experience performing configuration audits and managing configuration baselines.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Navy logistics processes and systems.
Familiarity with other configuration management tools and databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
