Configuration Manager / DevOps

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a to support a company focused on federal cybersecurity operations, engineering, and compliance for the Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). This position is on-site at . The will lead configuration management strategy and execution across the full system lifecycle, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and operational integrity. Join a mission critical team supporting national nuclear security initiatives.

• Lead configuration management (CM) processes across system lifecycle, from requirements baselines through end-of-life
• Design, implement, and maintain configuration tools, repositories, and baselines (development, test, production)
• Chair Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage change control, audits, and release tracking
• Oversee documentation, including CM plans, traceability matrices, system designs, test reports, and security artifacts
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance, perform audits, and maintain release integrity

• 10+ years of experience in Configuration Management
• Experience with CM tools, version control systems, and software release management in secure environments
• Strong analytical, documentation, leadership, and audit/compliance skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Active DOE Q Clearance OR Top Secret Clearance

• Salary Range: $150,000-$160,000
