Credence has an upcoming need for a Data Scientist to support of the 9AF (AFCENT) Intelligence Directorate (9AF (AFCENT)/A2) Directorate mission in the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) and Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), SC 29152.
- Provide expertise for all intelligence planning and exercise functions for 9AF (AFCENT)/A2.
- Interface with 9AF (AFCENT) CAOC, USCENTCOM, 16AF, HAF/A2C, HQ ACC, and other unified commands and agencies on all matters relating to intelligence estimates and plans.
- Support the establishment of intelligence plans and programs to support adaptive/deliberate planning, crisis action planning, Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) contingency operations, and related exercises for the USCENTCOM AOR. This includes writing well thought-out inputs to the Base Plans and Annex B w/Appendices.
- Ensure all intelligence requirements necessary for CAOC operations, Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), and other theater operations are properly requested, staffed, maintained, tracked, and sourced through the Global Force Management Allocation Plan and the Time Phased Force Deployment Data systems in support of operations and contingency plans.
- Author combat capability documents, PowerPoint presentations, formal messages, background papers, items of interest, and staff summary packages for general officer review.
- Support the CFACC and 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 as an air intelligence SME in joint and component forums.
- Support contingency planning for operations in the 9AF (AFCENT) AOR.
- Ensure Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) is updated/tracked as required.
- ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or six (6) years' comparable USAF experience
- Applied understanding in analysis, targeting, and theater airborne ISR capabilities
- Completion of National, Joint or USAF Intelligence Planning Course
- In-depth understanding of the relationship between Joint Staff, Joint Commands, Major Commands, Task Forces, and Air Force agencies
- In-depth experience developing operational exercise scenarios, ISR support planning for exercises
