Location: Remote (Tri-State Area)
Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST / 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM EST
Global law firm is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Conflicts Analyst to join its Legal Risk & Compliance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and firm leadership by identifying and evaluating potential conflicts of interest, facilitating new business intake, and helping ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and firm policies.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff regarding new business intake and conflicts-related inquiries.
- Conduct conflicts searches, perform corporate research, and prepare detailed clearance reports for review by attorneys and firm leadership.
- Review and process new business intake submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm policies.
- Coordinate the review, approval, and retention of engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, waiver letters, and other client-related documentation.
- Maintain and administer ethical walls and confidential matter access within document management and timekeeping systems.
- Utilize conflicts and compliance platforms, including systems such as Intapp Open, Intapp Walls, S&P Capital IQ, LexisNexis, and LSEG WorldCheck One.
- Support ongoing database maintenance and data integrity initiatives across conflicts and risk management systems.
- Analyze corporate structures, affiliations, and ownership information to identify potential legal and business conflicts.
- Collaborate with attorneys, risk and compliance professionals, and administrative departments to facilitate timely resolution of conflicts issues.
- Assist with special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in conflicts, risk management, legal research, compliance, new business intake, or a related function within a law firm environment.
- Experience working with conflicts databases, legal research tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with Intapp Open, Intapp Walls, or similar conflicts management systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal conflicts, law firm risk management principles, and ethical considerations.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborative approach with a commitment to providing outstanding internal client service.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
