Mechanical Engineer - Serviceability

We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to focus on Design for Serviceability. In this role, you will evaluate form, fit, function, access, and analysis of our products. You will collaborate with Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, and Prototyping to advocate for initiatives that support the service optimization of our products. Additionally, you will manage our Fleet's inspection and maintenance program, presenting comprehensive reports and findings to reduce cost, time, and repair methods.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of engineering experience, ideally within a service engineering organization.
• Strong 3D CAD experience, CATIA a plus.
• Ability to design for a wide range of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Prior work experience in a similar industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Proficiency in using ERP systems for maintenance and operational data management.
• Experience within the automotive industry.
• Solid understanding of complex mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive Design for Serviceability.
• Evaluate part and assembly design for hand clearance, tooling clearance, ergonomics, and replacement feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and maintain inspection and maintenance activities for vehicles.
• Identify and implement improvements in the inspection and maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
