Space Systems TT&C Engineering Lead
As an aerospace engineer, you know leading-edge space systems are critical to national defense. We need your skills and expertise in satellite launch and on-orbit operations to oversee the development of creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.
As a leading aerospace engineer on our satellite tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C) team, you'll use your expertise to drive design and new technology evaluation for a new launch vehicle and satellite TT&C ground system, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace systems. Your experience in space launch and on-orbit satellite operations is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology. You'll work with a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and software developers across the company and collaborate with corporate partners to deliver world-class solutions to execute launch and on-orbit TT&C missions. Your engineering knowledge will help multiple national security space organizations expand and improve their capabilities to operate national assets.

- Experience in launch vehicle or TT&C
- Experience with analysis and operations related to launch vehicle or satellite trajectory planning, mission design, and operations
- Knowledge of launch vehicle or satellite TT&C systems and CONOPS
- Ability to manage technical teams to define and communicate solutions to customers
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering
- Experience with requirements development and verification for satellite launch missions, emphasizing TT&C operations
- Knowledge of software development for space missions, cloud-based system architecture, and modern software development practices, such as Agile, DevOps, Jira/Confluence, or Python
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to senior Government clients
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering
- PMP certification or equivalent education

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
