Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is seeking an intermediate-level Space Enterprise Coordination Specialist to provide support to space operations mission functions in an integrated space operations center environment located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

The selected candidate will support mission-critical space enterprise coordination activities spanning ground segment, space segment, and network/communications integration. Working with broad tasking and guidance from senior personnel, this role will contribute to joint space operations through enterprise-level coordination, joint planning support, and cross-organizational synchronization across NRO, USSPACECOM, USSF, and mission partner organizations.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support NRO enterprise space operations through system integration, orbital mechanics analysis, and satellite operations coordination.
  • Coordinate space enterprise activities across NRO, USSPACECOM, USSF, and interagency mission partners.
  • Support Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES) processes and joint planning activities.
  • Assist in facilitating CCMD/JS planning processes and cross-command coordination.
  • Support Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations planning and execution.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for space enterprise coordination.
  • Provide project management support for space enterprise coordination activities.
  • Prepare and present technical briefings and coordination products to operations staff and senior personnel.
  • Support cross-organizational working groups, technical exchange meetings, and coordination forums.
  • Identify and track enterprise-level dependencies, issues, and risks across the space operations enterprise.
  • Coordinate with ground station operations, satellite operations, and network/communications teams to ensure integrated mission execution.
  • Assist in the development of enterprise coordination frameworks, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support senior Space Enterprise Coordination specialists in the execution of complex coordination activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR Master's degree and 7 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR 10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise if no bachelor's degree is held.
  • Degree within a relevant technical or operational field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with NRO enterprise operations including system integration, orbital mechanics, and satellite operations.
  • Experience supporting joint operational planning processes including JOPES.
  • Experience with CCMD/JS planning processes and cross-command coordination.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations and associated processes.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to support complex, multi-stakeholder activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present coordination products clearly.
  • Ability to work independently with broad tasking and guidance in a matrixed environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with NRO MGS/IC operations.
  • Familiarity with NRO, USSPACECOM and USSF operational processes and organizational structures.
  • Experience with space situational awareness and satellite operations coordination.
  • Knowledge of advanced orbital mechanics and satellite operations.
  • Background in multi-domain operations and joint planning.
  • Experience developing and implementing TTPs in a space operations environment.
  • Familiarity with IC collection management and space-based intelligence systems.
  • Experience supporting senior coordination specialists in complex enterprise-level activities.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
