Job Description

- Plans and directs the daily work of Purchasing Departments and monitors the status of open contracts to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Implement organizational policies for vendor evaluation and negotiate complex terms for the acquisition of mission-critical materials.
- Supervise the preparation of Procurement Reports and ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to Federal safety, quality, and legal standards.
- Manages the execution of procurement tasks and vendor performance monitoring for Special Operations facilities in the Pacific AOR.
- Evaluate regional procurement Status Reports to prioritize resource allocation and ensure infrastructure reliability for high-impact mission sets.
- Lead the coordination of local vendors and Logistics Teams to resolve contract performance issues affecting theaterwide readiness and command-and-control operations.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Experience in quality gate oversight and developing technical procurement protocols.
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or a related field.
- Experience with Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) or USACE procurement protocols.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD delivery and security protocols for contracted services.
- Supply Chain Management certifications.
- Procurement certifications.
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
