In this role, you will help design, develop, and implement critical ServiceNow solutions that support our customer's mission-critical business requirements.
• Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core platform capabilities to support business requirements.
• Develop applications including configuration, report development, and data migration where applicable.
• Identify and implement best-practice solutions to address client requirements.
• Perform custom development and third-party integrations across the environment.
• Perform unit-testing, resolve code defects, and migrate code changes to the production environment.
• Assist with technical design and documentation to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow.
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of additional IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience working on a large and complex software development project.
• Experience with developing Service Catalog and ServiceNow workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript.
• DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) credential.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer credential.
• Experience working in a DevOps or Agile software development environment.
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.
• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
