Job Title: Site Integration Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking an experienced Site Integration Engineer to provide planning, engineering, oversight, and management for fully integrated, "turn-key" Airborne Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) Transport Infrastructure Gateway installations (e.g., USSOCOM RGEP and/or DISA ISR Ground Entry Points (IGEP) at new facilities/locations.
Assisting the Government with planning and execution for enterprise and site-level projects related to the AISR Transport Infrastructure. Specifically, for the integration, expansion, and buildout of additional capability/capacity within USSOCOM's Regional Ground Entry Points (RGEPs) and DISA Large Satellite Gateways (LSGs).
The Site Integration Engineer needs a broad spectrum of skills in program management, systems engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, and subject matter expertise related to the C2ISR and AISR transport architecture.
Responsible for providing planning, oversight, and management for "turn-key" gateway installations, capacity expansions, and system integrations at new and existing facilities. This includes support for both fixed and mobile/deployable variants.
Continuously evaluate the infrastructure for technology gaps and obsolete hardware/software. Evaluate and provide recommendations on the integration of next-generation technologies.
The Site Integration Engineer shall assist the government with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) contractor support with pre-install, install, and post site installation support for AISR equipment. The Site Integration Engineer shall assist with installation management and verification of OEM installs.

Upon completion of the installation, the Site Integration Engineer will:
- Assist RMF and Configuration Management teams to capture hardware/software configurations impacting the current enterprise baseline
- Assist with Pre/Post install briefings
- Verifying all hardware/software installed is operational and site level personnel have received adequate training and documentation for sustainment support
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
- Candidates must meet the qualification requirements of DoDM 8140.03 for the DCWF 441 - Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate) work role through an approved qualification pathway (Education, DoD Military/Training, Certification, or a combination thereof), as defined by the applicable contract. - Education (OR)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.
- DoD/Military Training (OR)
- Certification for DCWF 441 (Intermediate), such as: C ompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CEH.
- Ability to travel worldwide, including to remote or austere locations. Individual trips may extend up to two months, with the possibility of multiple trips per year.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex network issues within routed and switched infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network management tools.
- Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, multicast routing, VLANs, VPNs, and network performance monitoring solutions.
- Experience performing packet analysis, log analysis, fault isolation, and root-cause investigations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
Desired Qualification
- Experience supporting SOCOM, CENTCOM, AFRICOM, TRANSCOM, Space Force, or other Combatant Command environments.
- Knowledge of ISR mission systems, sensor transport architectures and tactical data transport networks.
- Experience supporting OCONUS operations and remote-site sustainment activities.
- Prior military service or experience supporting DOD customers.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.
