Job Description



  • You will coordinate continual analysis of all Aviation Support Branch material operations and work practices to ensure the quality and reliability of Branch operations, data, and program compliance.
  • You will establish and monitor each organizational segment to determine program compliance, work quality, and to provide metrics data on program efforts.
  • You will collect, consolidate and analyze program data to provide reports to supervisors and program managers for review and consideration.
  • You will perform audit and sampling actions on-site at assigned locations that support Aviation Supply Branch operations.
  • You will analyze material management data, and present findings in written format with charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and reports generated from automated systems.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.


Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administrating management control and financial accountability for supply assets and operations. Examples of the specialized experience include: 1) Continual analysis of material operations through quality control investigations discrepancy reports and surveys; 2) Utilizing automated material management applications such as the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS); 3) Presenting findings with charts, graphs, spreadsheets and reports; and 4) Developing alternatives and recommendations on general business and material management practices.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
