Job Description
- You will provide authoritative information and analysis on program requirements and implications of funding alternatives on issues.
- You will provide oversights and leadership in ensuring common processes and tools are implemented across the Program Office.
- You will provide business and financial management support, program evaluation and management expertise to the Program Office.
- You will ensure compliance with appropriation law, fiscal policy, and Department of War financial management regulations governing the obligation and expenditure of funds.
- You will oversee budget execution plan, review and release Program office level financial documents, including contract agreements and task statements.
- You will participates in activities to analyze, improve and implement fiscal management processes and tools across the command.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing financial management advisory services on budget formulation, budget execution, financial analysis, and fiscal policy affecting programs, projects and/or initiatives; monitoring and tracking business and acquisition areas; AND ensuring that program execution adheres to financial management policy, appropriation law, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) resource controls.
