PRISM is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst. This is a hybrid position with a quarterly on site requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze AWS and OCI cloud usage, billing, and consumption trends to identify cost anomalies, waste, and optimization opportunities.
Review cloud resources for rightsizing, idle or underutilized assets, storage inefficiencies, data transfer costs, and licensing impacts.
Develop actionable recommendations to reduce spend through reserved capacity, savings plans, commitment strategies, scheduling, tagging improvements, and architectural changes.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for cloud cost visibility, budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Partner with application, infrastructure, and platform teams to prioritize and implement cost optimization actions.
Monitor adherence to tagging, chargeback/showback, and cloud financial management policies.
Support budgeting, monthly spend reviews, and forecast updates for cloud environments.
Investigate billing discrepancies and usage spikes; communicate root causes and remediation actions to stakeholders.
Help mature FinOps processes, governance, and operating rhythms across AWS and OCI.
Track realized savings and report optimization outcomes to leadership.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION):
7 years of experience
