Position Summary

ANSER is seeking a Joint Data Network (JDN) Technician to support the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) Data Fusion Center (DFC). In this role, you will provide technical support for Command and Control (C2) systems that enable U.S. Marine Corps, Joint, and Combined operations, exercises, and training events throughout the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) area of responsibility and, as required, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). You will monitor and maintain critical operational systems, manage Common Operating Picture (COP) capabilities, and ensure continuous availability of mission-essential data services in support of operational readiness.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and support Command and Control (C2) systems, including Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J), Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP), Agile Client, and related mission systems.
  • Continuously monitor the health and status of Common Operating Picture (COP) servers and associated infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain COP Sync Tool (CST) and Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT) connectivity.
  • Ensure VMware environments remain operational and support system sustainability.
  • Validate daily COP and JREAP management activities to maintain operational readiness.
  • Perform continuous Common Operating Picture (COP) database management and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues affecting C2 capabilities and operational data flow.
  • Support real-world operations, crisis response activities, military exercises, and training events.
  • Update and maintain Data Fusion Center documentation using Microsoft Office Suite and approved collaboration tools.
  • Coordinate with government personnel and mission partners to ensure reliable C2 system performance.
  • Support CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements in support of operational missions and exercises.

Required Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. An associate degree may be substituted with an additional five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight years of relevant experience supporting a U.S. military service (Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Air Force, or Coast Guard) in Command and Control (C2) systems support.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Command and Control systems, including GCCS-J, JREAP, Agile Client, or comparable operational platforms.
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining Common Operating Picture (COP) systems and associated databases.
  • Familiarity with COP Sync Tools (CST), Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), VMware environments, and related mission systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain operational system availability in a mission-critical environment.
  • Ability to support rotating 8-hour watch schedules, including 0400-1200, 1200-2000, and 2000-0400 shifts.
  • Ability and willingness to travel both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
