Job Description:
This role sits at the intersection of engineering and compliance, supporting classification and export determinations for a wide range of aerospace technologies. You will work directly with engineers to evaluate technical data (drawings, BOMs, software, systems) and determine appropriate classifications under EAR and ITAR regulations.
This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role where priorities shift quickly and decisions matter. You will not be limited to a single program or function instead, you will operate across the enterprise, supporting diverse engineering domains and global stakeholders.
What You ll Do
Perform export classifications (ECCN/ITAR) for aerospace technical data including drawings, materials, source code and engineering systems
Partner directly with engineers to evaluate data, challenge assumptions and guide compliant decisions
Support corporate investigations and compliance risk assessments
Contribute to and improve export decision guides internal processes
Navigate ambiguity balancing regulatory compliance with business needs
Operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
Collaborate with Global Trade Control and Legal teams on complex or high-risk cases

Education / Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
