Credence has an immediate opening for a B-2 LO Systems Architecture at the principal level to support the B-2 Division who is responsible for the modernization, test, production, fielding and sustainment of B-2 aircraft and related systems. The B-2 is a high demand, low density fleet that is 20+ years old, is undergoing numerous concurrent acquisitions to solve obsolescence issues, and delivers critical aerial denial/anti-access and nuclear capabilities at Tinker AFB, OK.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
  • The B-2 LO Systems Architecture shall apply experience developing and managing the acquisition of LO platform modifications including but not limited to avionics, software, computer architecture, communications, and signature management and antenna systems to the tasks in Sections 3.6.1, 3.6.2, and 3.6.3.
  • Apply knowledge in avionics, software, computer, radar, signature management and antenna systems, and communications engineering principles to advise and assist with LO platform modifications.
  • Advise and assist the Government in developing, acquiring and managing LO platform IA, cybersecurity and AT provisions.
  • Assist in initiating, supervising, and/or developing requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;
  • Assist in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff;
  • Assist in providing detailed analysis, evaluations and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
  • Consult with the Government to define need or problem;
  • Assist in supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Apply understanding of DoD, Air Force, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve the performance and sustainability of existing and future Air Force and joint service weapon systems.
  • Assist in translating AFGSC and ACC requirements into weapon system requirements used to design, develop, fabricate, test, evaluate, field, and deploy weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Assist with requirements development, technology needs, action plans, and policies necessary to improve and sustain manufacturing, operations, re-manufacturing, demilitarization, and disposal of USAF weapon system capabilities.
  • Support technical and mission analyses of existing and future operational requirements; develop system concepts; perform technological and trade-off assessments; and assist with materiel solution analyses leading up to design reviews.
  • Provide rapid-response engineering support by assisting with problem identification, impact assessments, and corrective action development for critical supportability issues.
  • Develop and review technical documentation, presentation materials, staff summary packages, executive briefings, and program/technical artifacts supporting cost, schedule, performance, coordination, signature, and milestone approval requirements.
  • Produce, review, and support acquisition, systems engineering, cybersecurity, test, safety, airworthiness, technical, and program documentation, including requirements documents, acquisition strategies/plans, SEPs, TEMPs, PPPs, ISPs, cybersecurity packages, security authorization documentation, risk plans, environmental/safety evaluations, and related weapon system contractor-produced artifacts.
  • Support project team meetings, working groups, program reviews, and technical reviews, including SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, SVR, FCA, PCA, PRR, PMR, TCM, TIMs, IBRs, SETRs, and other applicable reviews.
  • Analyze equipment, software, and system deficiencies; develop action plans to resolve deficiency reports; make recommendations for corrective actions; and develop, integrate, and test equipment and software deficiency solutions.
  • Assist the Government with engineering evaluations of prime and subcontractor recommendations for operational and support issues, including ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, FAA bulletins, modification proposals, DMSMS, program risk, and related documents; provide advisory support for engineering-related source selection requirements as needed.
  • Support development and evaluation of IMPs, IMSs, Systems Engineering Detail Schedules, and engineering cost estimates.
  • Support system safety engineering activities, including mishap risk assessments, contractor safety proposal and analysis evaluations, safety concern resolution, Safety Action Records, System Safety Risk Assessments, and briefings to safety working groups, review boards, the Chief Engineer, and the System Program Manager.
  • Support LCSE and OSS&E disciplined engineering activities, including reviewing and updating OSS&E baseline documentation, identifying OSS&E elements, reporting OSS&E metrics, maintaining compliance with applicable AFIs, supplements, and operating instructions, and briefing OSS&E documents to review boards and senior engineering/program leadership.
  • Assist in monitoring SEP implementation throughout program operations and identifying shortfalls or gaps requiring corrective action.
  • Apply MIL-HDBK-516C Airworthiness Certification Criteria to aircraft systems and subsystems; support Air Force Integrity Programs; maintain and update critical safety item lists; monitor airworthiness certification; prepare airworthiness plans, certification basis, compliance reports, Military Flight Releases, and Military Type Certificates; and brief airworthiness documents through board reviews and to technical airworthiness authorities.
  • Support Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance activities in accordance with Defense Nuclear Agency-H-93-140 and nuclear weapon system safety design and evaluation criteria.
  • Support collaborative requirements-to-acquisition planning by researching program information, providing systems engineering insight, conducting analyses, and preparing briefings that connect warfighter capability needs to materiel solution planning.
  • Support interfaces and processes across development planning, technology, intelligence, acquisition, sustainment, and user communities.
  • Apply knowledge and experience across requirements, acquisition, and sustainment activities, including doctrine, requirements identification and definition, horizontally integrated acquisition and investment strategies, technology integration, intelligence integration, sustainment strategy development, and architecture-based capability planning.
  • Develop strategies and documentation for cross-cutting capability requirements, including TEMPs, SEPs, RFPs, SOOs, test plans, LCMPs, Pre-Milestone A documentation, and Pre-Milestone B documentation.
  • Provide technical support to software reviews, including Integrated Functional Capability Readiness Assessments, IFC TRRs, IFC demos, and IFC fielding recommendations.
  • Identify, assess, and analyze future capability solution sets needed to support capability requirements and program reviews.
  • Review systems engineering initiatives resulting from policy changes related to commercial item acquisition, commercial-off-the-shelf items, FAA-certified items, non-destructive inspection, and performance-based business practices.
  • Manage and support capability and systems engineering studies involving multiple divisions and communicate systems engineering solutions, risk analyses, and future solution recommendations across AFLCMC, MAJCOMs, other enterprises, and the Air Staff.
  • Assist with transition of programs into and termination of programs out of the B-2 Division to enhance fielded warfighter capabilities.
  • Assist with family-of-systems and system-of-systems planning, including capability manager strategies such as spectrum battle management and Joint All Domain Command and Control systems.
  • Support technology process development, improvement, and administration, including applied technology councils, Small Business Innovation Research initiatives, and other efforts to identify, assess, and submit proposals to the technology community.
  • Review planning documents, including Mission Need Statements, Operational Requirements Documents, ICDs, CDDs, and CPDs, for realistic industrial base execution; promote MS&A use throughout the acquisition life cycle; and foster common-use M&SA tools for Government and industry.
  • Integrate intelligence information and infrastructure to support cross-enterprise capabilities planning and system acquisition.
  • Provide recommended solution sets for capabilities integration planning and organize briefings that bring together cross-divisional engineering expertise.




Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must have a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to be read onto SCI.
  • ABET accredited Master's or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, at least twelve (12) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD;
  • OR ABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, at least fifteen (15) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD;
  • Personnel fulfilling the identified requirement positions shall possess a current collateral Secret or Top-Secret clearance as specified in the DD Form 254 for this task order, the LOE Matrix, and the PWS for WBN, WBD, WAO, WAX, WAV, WBZ, OZJ, AF/IO, and JPO support unless otherwise stated.
  • Regardless of clearance level, personnel shall maintain their required clearance throughout the contract period of performance to provide support for multiple tasks and meetings at various classification levels.
  • The Government will assist the candidate with attaining access to classified facilities as required.
