Onsite Job: Software Engineer/Developer Level 2
Work Location: Baltimore, MD 21240 / College Park, MD
Work Schedule: 9x80 A
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Pay Rate: $125/hr on W2

Job Description:

• Build and enhance front-end user interfaces using React, including hooks, functional components, and state management libraries.
• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services.
• Implement responsive UI components while following UI/UX best practices and integrating with design systems.
• Apply modern design patterns and UI frameworks, including React.
• Develop, test, and deploy code in a Linux/WSL environment.
• Develop and maintain containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write automated UI tests to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment and participate in code reviews.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with C++ and Java.
• Hands-on experience building front-end UI components using React.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Proficiency using IDEs such as VSCode, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
• Experience developing, building, and debugging applications in a Linux/WSL environment.
• Practical experience with AWS Cloud Services.

Preferred:

• Experience with Cosmos or similar mission planning/analysis tools.
• Experience working with real-time or combat systems.
• Cybersecurity experience or knowledge.

Education/Experience:

Requires 5+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in C++, Java, React, REST APIs, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/WSL, AWS,
