MBSE Engineer Job Description
Support systems engineering activities throughout the system development lifecycle
Develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements and associated traceability
Create and maintain MBSE models using Cameo
Support architecture development, requirements decomposition, and system analysis efforts
Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts and technical documentation
Participate in technical reviews, design discussions, and engineering assessments
Collaborate with software, test, and systems engineering teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented and verified
Support customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
LvL 2 opening : Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of related experience; OR
Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0–2 years of related experience
Active, in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
Experience with requirements management using DOORS
Experience with Cameo and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
LvL 3: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related experience; OR
Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related experience
Active, in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
Experience using Cameo (MagicDraw) and DOORS
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience using SysML to model complex systems
Experience with architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition
Strong systems engineering background supporting complex technical systems
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% in support of program needs
