Software Data Integration Engineer
KBR's Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. The Software Data Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration solutions that enable seamless communication between systems and applications across the enterprise. This role focuses on API development, system integration, data modeling, and cloud-based technologies within an Agile/SAFe environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting U.S. Government software programs and demonstrates strong technical expertise, a customer-focused (UX/CX) mindset, hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms such as Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform, and exceptional communication skills for effectively engaging stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain across multiple systems using APIs, middleware, and integration tools
- Build and customize solutions using the (Primarily Power Apps)
- Develop and consume and services with strong adherence to best practices, security, and scalability
- Work with to transform and map data between systems
- Perform across enterprise platforms, including cloud and on-premises applications
- Design and maintain , ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and integrity
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex , stored procedures, and database objects
- Develop, manage, and support solutions using such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
- Implement integrations leveraging (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Data Factory)
- Participate in , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
- Contribute to , including automated builds, deployments, and version control
- Collaborate with UX/CX teams to ensure integrations support seamless and intuitive user experiences
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Document system architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and processes

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7+ years of experience in

Remote
: $110,400.00 - $165,500.00. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
