As an Electrical Engineering Associate Manager, you'll lead a team of Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Power Electronics, and Cable Harness engineers and designers supporting advanced laser and sensor programs. You'll provide technical leadership while managing project execution, workforce planning, and team development.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Providing technical direction and project oversight across multiple programs.
Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to achieve cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
Supporting proposal development, estimating, resource planning, and budgeting.
Managing project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving successful execution.
Implementing process improvements and engineering best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and affordability.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical hardware design and testing (e.g. circuit cards, power distribution and power conversion assemblies, cable harnesses)
• Highly experienced in leading technical teams (e.g., previous experience as a Technical Lead, Project Manager, System Lead, or Product Lead)
• Working knowledge in an adjacent discipline (Components, Computer, Hardware, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering)
• Demonstrated proficiencies in earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques
• Understanding of hardware engineering processes and the hardware engineering product life cycle
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in power distribution and power conversation electronics
• Experience with Printed Circuit Board Design and Industry Standards
• Experience in Component Engineering with part selection, obsolescence management, GIDEPs, part libraries, and similar fields
• Experience with GD&T and applicable ASME drafting standards
• Experience with Model-Based Electrical CAD tools, including Xpedition, Zuken CR, Cadence, and Altium
• Experience with Windchill and/or EPDM product data management toolset
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (Cameo preferred)
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, senior management, program office, and customers
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and affordability
• Experience in proposal preparation and negotiation
• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
