Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) portfolio for a Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 program. On our development Engineering team, you can help us take on the world's most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
• Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated
with specific projects:
• Support risk assessments and risk mitigation
plans, including balancing technical risks
between systems.
• Manage key aspects of the technical
implementation of the program, by collaborating
across a number of disciplines to ensure that
technical parameters, interfaces, and
assumptions are consistent across disciplines,
and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g.,
engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure
program goals are met.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration
opportunities to ensure best practices and
domain knowledge are shared.
• Perform hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Support and provide guidance on operations
and maintenance, including definition and
communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
• Work continuously and cross-functionally to
analyze, test and iterate technical requirements,
user stories and operations concepts.
• Provide technical direction and clarification of
requirements within the DevSecOps team.
• May support and lead engineering proposal efforts.
• May require increased on-site presence in secondary LM location in support of classified program activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, or other related field
• Experience developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures, preferably using MBSE tools and techniques
• Experience performing systems integration
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Proposal Writing (BOE creation, management)
• GSE-specific Systems Engineering
• Hardware Engineering
• Experience Working with JPO or USAF Customers/Systems
• EPDM (Enterprise Products Data Management)
• CATIA v5, PDM
• CAMEO
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
