Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
In this role, you will be supporting teams from C2BMC. You will work with the Systems Engineering and Verification team to support sound agile practices, to enable high team performance, and to clear impediments. The successful candidate will have experience working in an Agile environment with software development teams and solid people skills. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position requires working on site in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and engage product teams on the principles of self-organization, Agile mindset, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Product Owners to properly scope, prioritize, and plan current and future work
• Identify, track, and remove impediments that block team progress
• Maintain backlog hygiene and ensure user stories are well-defined and sprint-ready
• Support the team through Agile transformation, promoting Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices as appropriate
• Monitor team health, velocity, and delivery metrics and report to management
• Serve as a resource and coach for Agile techniques including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Automated Testing
• Experience working with Agile tools e.g. Jira, Confluence
• Some travel may be required

• Strong communication and coaching skills to guide team members and stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of project-management fundamentals (MS Project, Primavera, Agile/Waterfall basics)
• Solid understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework
• Basic knowledge of systems engineering

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
