Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for RADAR and Electronic Warfare Technology. We provide surface, air and undersea solutions, including radar and surveillance systems, undersea combat systems, and surface combat systems and sensors.
This position is for a lead systems engineer for development of a high performance radar system. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
In this important role, the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) will perform the following:
- Lead a systems engineering team of 5-10 people in requirements development / decomposition, including review of work products.
- Lead a team of 4 people through Safety, RMA, EMI, and Cyber engineering development, including review of work products.
- Ensure systems engineering team alignment with process
- Support Jira management
- Support staffing management
- Span IPTs to ensure requirements alignment and decomposition
- Represent the team and product to internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Assist with cost account management tasks

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
