Army Client Relationship Executive
Position Summary:
The Army Client Relationship Executive is responsible for managing and expanding strategic client relationships across Army logistics, supply chain, sustainment, and modernization organizations, including Army Materiel Command (AMC), Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), Army Futures Command (AFC), and Program Executive Offices (PEOs).
This role serves as the primary business development lead for identifying, developing, and growing opportunities aligned with Army operational priorities related to logistics modernization, materiel readiness, supply chain visibility, sustainment operations, enterprise technology, and multi-domain readiness.
The position works closely with Army stakeholders and internal delivery organizations to align company capabilities with customer mission requirements. This role supports growth through relationship management, opportunity identification, strategic planning, solution development, and coordination across technical and functional delivery teams.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $189,130 - $237,094 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Army logistics, sustainment, and technology stakeholders across AMC, ASC, CASCOM, AFC, and PEO organizations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer engagement related to supply chain modernization, sustainment operations, materiel readiness, and enterprise technology initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with Army leadership, operational units, program offices, and acquisition stakeholders.
- Support customer discussions related to operational challenges, readiness gaps, modernization priorities, and mission effectiveness.
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities supporting Army logistics, sustainment, and enterprise modernization efforts.
- Develop growth strategies aligned with Army modernization priorities (e.g., predictive sustainment, contested logistics, data-centric operations).
- Support capture planning, pipeline development, and opportunity shaping across Army commands and PEOs.
- Collaborate with internal leadership to develop Army-aligned solutions and offerings.
- Assist in development of whitepapers, capability briefings, operational demonstrations, and proposal responses.
- Drive contract growth within existing Army programs through identification of expansion opportunities.
Strategic Solution Development:
- Coordinate with technical and functional delivery teams to align solutions with Army operational requirements.
- Help shape integrated logistics, sustainment, asset visibility, maintenance, and supply chain optimization solutions.
- Support workshops, demonstrations, and Army engagements showcasing operational value.
- Align solutions with emerging technologies including:
- SAP S/4HANA (GCSS-Army alignment)
- AI/ML-enabled readiness and predictive maintenance
- Cloud-based logistics platforms
- Warehouse automation and robotics
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with sustainment leaders, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure mission alignment.
- Coordinate across internal business units to support pipeline growth and proposal execution.
- Facilitate communication between Army stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Market and Operational Awareness:
- Maintain awareness of Army logistics, sustainment, and modernization initiatives across:
- AMC / ASC (enterprise sustainment & logistics execution)
- CASCOM (doctrine, training, sustainment concepts)
- AFC (future force and modernization priorities)
- PEOs (systems acquisition and program delivery)
- Monitor acquisition activity, contract vehicles (ITES, RS3, LOGCAP, etc.), and funding priorities.
- Provide leadership with insight into Army priorities, risks, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years supporting Army, DoD, or federal logistics, sustainment, or enterprise ERP environments.
- Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, business development, capture management, or strategic growth activities within SAP. (SAP Experience is Preferred NOT Required)
- Strong understanding of Army sustainment, logistics, and enterprise technology systems (e.g., GCSS-Army).
- Experience coordinating with operational units, program offices, and acquisition organizations.
- Strong executive communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proven ability to grow business within SAP existing Army accounts.
- Proved experience with Army logistics platforms (GCSS-Army, LMP, AESIP) and SAP ecosystems.
Desired / Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting AMC, ASC, CASCOM, AFC, or Army PEOs (PEO EIS, PEO CS&CSS, etc.).
- Experience with predictive maintenance, supply chain visibility, or contested logistics solutions.
- Experience supporting warehouse automation, transportation modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise integration efforts.
- Prior support to Army modernization initiatives or digital transformation programs.
- Existing relationships within Army sustainment or acquisition community.
- Experience supporting proposals and task orders under Army contract vehicles.
- Active or eligible security clearance.
- Location: Remote, with preference for the following areas:
- Huntsville, AL

- Warren, MI
- Rock Island, IL
- Fort Belvoir, VA
- DC / Northern Virginia
- Travel: Frequent travel may be required to support Army client engagement and operational activities.
