Job Description
- You will archive electronic documents to maintain an organized and accessible computerized database.
- You will verify completeness of service work performed to confirm the accuracy of the work order database.
- You will generate queries in an automated system to provide requested reports.
- You will maintain historical records of all local telephone service work orders.
- You will draft or update instructions or standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Must be a US Citizen.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1.) Receiving and processing physical facilities repair and/or maintenance customer service requests by phone and e-mail with minimal assistance; 2.) Using quality customer service to obtain relevant information regarding maintenances, repairs, and resources needed to complete requests; 3.) Utilizing automated systems and other applicable databases to record, review, and correct work orders, requests, and reports under higher-graded employees; 4.) Evaluating and categorizing various types of service requests to accurately classify work orders.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Physical Demands: Duties are generally performed sitting for extended periods of time using various computer and communication technologies. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending, carrying of light items such as papers or books. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment involving everyday risks that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, e.g. use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations. The work area is adequately lighted, cooled, heated and ventilated.
