This is an immediate need. The Senior Principal Consultant will support the installation and maintenance of the Red Hat Satellite server within all environments. They will work with the Customer to ensure requirements utilize Best Practices and servers are set up according to specifications. They will use tools or develop procedures/scripts. They will support the operations, maintenance, and upgrade of the Red Hat Satellite server. Administer knowledge transfer and transition from contractor to client personnel. 



Requirements

• IRS MBI (high risk) Clearance


• At least 5 years' experience of administering Red Hat Satellite infrastructure


• The following experience for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux. (RHEL) Operating System:
  
  
  
  • Implement and support Red Hat Satellite server, including experience with performing Satellite version upgrades for large corporations or government agencies, implementation of Satellite-based automated installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration
  
  
  • Assist in creating automated RHEL server builds
  
  
  • Automate build, distribution, configuration and operations processes
  
  
  • Provide knowledge transfer/training to support staff, including documentation of processes and procedures
  
  
  
  


• Red Hat Linux certification preferred


• Possess the ability to read and understand the Red Hat SOS reports on the Service's behalf when troubleshooting issues with the Satellite server
