Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking a The Facility Operations Manager (FOM) will oversee daily operations, maintenance, safety, and security of an Army Mission Command Training Center/Complex. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Army facilities operations, DPW procedures, and supervisory experience. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic training environment.

Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking a The Facility Operations Manager (FOM) will oversee daily operations, maintenance, safety, and security of an Army Mission Command Training Center/Complex. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic training environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, maintenance, and readiness of Army training center facilities.
- Coordinate DPW work orders and ensure compliance with DPW procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC, humidity controls, and building systems.
- Supervise facility staff and contractors overseeing safety, security, and maintenance.
- Support multiple facility projects, maintaining accurate timelines and communication.
- Ensure adherence to key control, safety standards, and security protocols.
- Work closely with military leadership to meet training and mission requirements.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree OR Ten years of Special Forces experience may substitute for academic degrees
- Minimum two years of experience in facility management
- Experience in operations of an Army Mission Command Training Center/Complex
Minimum Background/Experience Required:
- Two years of experience supervising maintenance, security, and safety of facilities
- Training and experience with U.S. Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Repair and Upgrade (R&U) processes
- Experience performing humidity/air conditioning and controls checks
- Experience submitting and tracking DPW service requests or work orders (AC/heat, plumbing, electrical, etc.), with emphasis on Army DPW regulations and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Project Manager
- Experience performing key control and fire marshal functions
- Defense Information System for Security (DISS) training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and effective project coordination abilities
- Four years of experience as a senior supervisor
- Two years of management and operations experience in a Training Center or Complex (MTC, NTC, JRTC, etc.)
