Job Description
is seeking a cleared to support the U.S. Space Force and Space Systems Command in . This position provides systems engineering, mission architecting, and analytical support to the Space Combat Power and Battle Management, Command, Control, Communications, and Space Intelligence System Deltas. These organizations are responsible for the planning, development, testing, deployment, integration, and sustainment of critical Space Control capabilities.
In this role, you will support the architecture and evolution of the ground and space-based Space Control enterprise, including capabilities focused on Orbital Warfare, Spectrum Warfare, and emerging technologies designed to maintain U.S. space superiority and outpace evolving threats.

- Provide leadership and strategic guidance on mission engineering approaches for complex System of Systems (SoS) architectures.
- Advise senior government and operational stakeholders on mission architecture strategies, technical risks, and strategic messaging.
- Provide systems engineering, mission architecting, and technical analysis support for Space Control programs and initiatives.
- Develop, review, and assess technical requirements while supporting space systems technical reviews and architecture assessments.
- Identify, document, and develop mitigation strategies for Risks, Issues, and Gaps (RIGs) to support informed decision-making by senior leadership.
- Lead mission thread development activities by identifying critical operational functions and modeling current-state and future-state functional and physical architectures.
- Provide technical direction and insight to modeling and analysis teams related to architecture designs, interfaces, schedules, and key program assumptions.
- Drive the integration and adoption of Digital Engineering (DE) methodologies across multiple programs and architectures.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) practices to support mission-level architecture development.
- Support the conversion of legacy systems engineering artifacts and documentation into digital engineering environments and model-based frameworks.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 14+ years of experience supporting systems engineering and architecture development for major acquisition programs utilizing Digital Engineering methodologies.
- Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and descriptive modeling frameworks such as SysML.
- Hands-on experience using Cameo Systems Architect and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Strong understanding of DoDAF architectural views and System of Systems architecture development.
- Experience performing Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A), including parametric and physics-based system assessments.
- Experience generating, analyzing, and validating technical requirements for complex systems.
- Must possess an in-scope Tier 5 (T5) security investigation adjudicated for SCI eligibility and be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation Program (as applicable).
- Must be willing to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) and consent to a Polygraph examination.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards and methodologies.
- Experience supporting Military Space Operations, particularly Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power missions.
- Experience working within a system development environment and/or U.S. Government weapon system program office.
- Demonstrated success leading the development of a Digital Engineering Thread utilizing MBSE and MS&A artifacts to achieve validated and verified system architectures.
- Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), INCOSE CSEP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering and operational analysis processes, tools, and methodologies used to generate data-driven mission insights.
